I dont really care about the politics of it. What I object to is the 2nd layer of politics. And the enforced joining of people / countries / cultures / economies which are not compatible.
And the fact that despite this "common laws" in EU - we get the dirty end of the stick - a lot of things are legal all over EU but NOT in UK !
I think the point the Canadian was making wasn't about Britain leaving the EU but about an individual upping sticks and leaving the UK if they don't like how things are in the UK......hence the reason I asked how that is easy, what with a job, family and other ties here.
I know people do it but it is not as black and white and as simple as Mr Explosive just saying " if you don't like it.......leave ".
