No not at all. Always a pleasure having someone on a public forum question my legitimacy.
Are you serious ? Or just trying to be funny ?
I assume the latter hence my tongue in cheek reply.

Re: Show us your rimfire's
I would be very surprised if that's the reason. It's much more likely that RFDs stop carrying ranges because:MistAgain wrote:Some of the bits used to be available , but now seem to have been dropped by their UK supplier because of backdoor imports .
1. Availability is poor - the domestic US market is so big that TheNextBigThing(tm) that every shooter wants will be hoovered up domestically and cause supply chain issues for export
2. Export and import legislation is a PITA and getting worse
3. Exchange rates are not favourable
4. Demand is not high enough here. A minimum order of 30 x AR triggers would fly off the shelves in less than a week in the US, but who wants money tied up in stuff over here that there isn't a committed buyer for

Picked up this on Friday - Ruger 10/22, three mags, a NJS leather pouch for the mags and a NJS leather pouch for .38. All for £120!!

Ooooo, didn't know that. Thought it was old as doesn't have the barrel band on the front. It was a bargain, the mags and two pouches are worth about £170. Will be useful for gallery shooting.BamBam wrote:Nice bargain! That's the deluxe walnut stock by the looks of it.

Re: Show us your rimfire's
The cheaper beech stock had the barrel band. A little work on that one and you can free float the barrel, unless it's maybe been done already?
