The opinion of EU functionaries and bureaucrats who support the proposals is not credible.

We, as citizens have inborn rights that no illegitimate or even legitimate government can thoughtlessly transgress. Government and particularly EU "regulation" of our fundamental rights is tyranny. A free state can only exist when the people regulate themselves and have both the will and ability to regulate those who want to claim power of them.

We are not criminals but they wish to criminalize us and our lawful activities. I take exception to the anti-gun falsehoods that are perpetuated by those that wish to control us.

These proposals are an affront to the core beliefs and constitutional principles of our society and totally unacceptable to the many millions of lawful firearm owners within the EU.

The argument for preserving and maintaining public safety is a falsehood.

Opponents have argued for years that gun registrations are a prequel to confiscations, which the European Commission affirms with the proposed ban on semi-automatic rifles that only affects legally-owned and registered guns.

The proposed ban (and confiscation) of any firearm will make it clear to all legitimate gun owners that anything they buy legally may be taken away at any time, thus driving many to the black market.

My Sister has lived over in Germany for nearly 20 years and it was a lovely town. Now there are around 500 immigrants in her town.
The 14 year old daughter of one of her friends has just been raped by these vermin and over the last month 3 other women have been raped in the surrounding streets. My sister is now carrying CS gas and other items just to nip across to the shops. Were she originally felt sorry for these "poor people" and welcomed them like many German citizens did... she now hates them with a passion. They had a wonderful opportunity for a "better life" that they have now destroyed with their ideas of raping German women. In the case of the 14 year old German girl, her life has been destroyed, yet the police are reluctant to release details in case there is a back-lash against immigrants. The irony is that my sister has traveled to North Africa (mainly Egypt) around 30 times, typically on her own without too hassle yet she is now in very real danger in her own town

Its a completely irrelevant that there has been an increase in the rape and sexual assault rate in that town, and other European towns/cities which have also been the location of concentrated levels of middle eastern immigrants. The two matters are definitely unrelated. This is a fact as its been said by politicians on the telly.

Yep, their political dogma will not be swayed by facts or common sense. Hence they can also link legally held guns with terrorism. Believe in global warming and think islam is the religion of peace.

Czechs and Austrians arm themselves for power. After the new year in both countries rapidly increased the number of applications for firearms license. The great interest in the permit for the weapon is primarily the result of last year's terrorist attacks in Paris and New Year's Eve events in Cologne. In Austria, the fear is enhanced by the fact that it is still a transit country for hundreds of thousands of immigrants traveling to Germany. Those who do not want to wait for the document, now procure their gas or stun guns. That is why just after the new year in many Austrian stores you could not get even tear gas. In the Czech Republic interest examinations on firearms license is several times larger than before. While for the past year took place only six of these exams, it today is already 14 established deadlines. Czechs are not deterred even the fact that a few months ago parliament drastically tightened rules concerning the authorization, possession of weapons, making them much harder to gain. At the moment, including the ten-country its citizens have more than 800,000 pieces of legal weapons.

Maybe in Sweden where they live in total denial that's true : the point is that despite this problem the simpler kinder people are at pains to point out that not all are guilty - and quite right too...some are just terrorists

Funny then (NOT) that it is politically expedient to shaft all law abiding gun owners, just as they did in the Australia because it is easier than stopping the criminals and perpetrators. In other words, YOU (not you personally) are the scapegoats and are being criminalised and demonised for NO REASON!

Funny how the liberal masses seem to think that it's OK to blame ALL gun owners for crimes committed by one or two people (who COULD have been taken out of circulation) but when it comes to organised rape and molestation (sexual terrorism) the liberal appeasers blame the security at the event, the women, anything but the perverts responsible - or deny it ever happened like those silly Swedish people.
