Nope, the length of the fat bit is 38,0mm but reducing it is a 30 second job. What length would you prefer? (large part)

[quote="ovenpaa"]I did not have any stainless of less than 12.0mm diameter and turning it down to 5,5/5,0mm was not for tonight so I made this mock-up from scrap for comment. Is this the sort of thing people are after? The large diameter has a knurl on it and is hollow to reduce weight/inertia.

The length is fine for me but i wouldn't want anything like that width. Good job though :good: Look forward to testing them tongueout

I have built a couple so far to see how they worked out and my view is they are too big. What I really need is a Benelli to test them with to make sure they are OK.

Have you got an RFD now Dave? If so, want to "borrow" mine?

SimG, yes that came a while ago which is handy.

I do ideally need to get my hands on one at some point to finalise fit for function. Right now it feels like we have enough work for three people so it is a matter of scheduling it in or alternatively looking at it on a Sunday afternoon when I am supposed to be off however my Sunday afternoons are usually crammed as well....

I am sure we can work something out between us.

I've got no problem with it coming up to you for a couple of weeks or so. I can get my local shop to send it. It is a S1 though.....

It would also give you the chance to look at it and the feasibility of an extended bolt release button/pad. ;)
