What's a "terrorist"?

Please consider the following 3 scenarios, and rank them in order of the outrage and grief that you would feel, explaining why:
  • Your daughter is blown to bits by a bomb planted by a "terrorist".
Your daughter is blown to bits by a bomb dropped by an RAF pilot.
Your daughter is blown to bits by a missile fired from a remote controlled drone operated by the RAF, or someone on "our side".

Another one for you.

Whilst not contemporaneous, at near-enough "the same time" in a historical context you could have read about the following:
  • Terrorists in Aden.
    Freedom fighters in Hungary.
The UK bombing civilians in Suez.

Discuss.

Before you just lifted that wholesale from that vicious blog roll of scuttlebutt and tittle tattle, did you bother to see how much of it was fair and honest reporting?

Bear in mind that the guy responsible for it is a convicted criminal.

Corbyn is still a terrorist sympathiser, and many others think the same! Why not do a little research?

TRG-22, it is quite obvious that you are a rabid Labour supporter / socialist, and I accept that I am a Tory supporter. Obviously we are poles apart in our opinions (yet, I was brought up on a large social housing estate in the North of England, with very little money): ever wonder why someone like me never supported Labour?

If socialism is so good, why are people not "escaping" from capitalism to go to your beloved socialist countries (because the socialist counties are bankrupt!).

You'll need to do a lot better than that.

Is it?

Just because I reject the demented "reporting" of the hate sheets that doesn't mean that I am uncritical of the Labour party. I'm actually not a fan of JC, and I hold that he bears a heavy responsibility for the Brexit debacle, but that doesn't mean that I agree that he is a communist or a terrorist sympathiser.

Frequently.

OOI, how has 10 years of Tory austerity served the residents of that estate?

Please tell us what you think are my "beloved socialist countries".

Electricity generation & distribution
Gas extraction/import & distribution
Water supply
Roads
Railways
Police
Fire service
Armed forces
Schools
Higher education
Health service
Social services
Benefits administration
Prisons
Courts

I don't read the Sun, that was the result from a Google search.

If I had referenced the Daily Mail or Express you wouldn't have liked those either. I assume that you read The Morning Star, The Guardian, Socialist Worker, etc.

Thanks for that but I fear the p*** contest yours is bigger than mine that is going on here is looking like it is going run on for a while. The moderators are obviously not concerned about what is going on in the thread so we will just have to wait until it gets really ugly and they lock it.

Witch by the way I find very strange because I regularly get gun related posts deleted over night. I get pm,s about the posts from interested parties offering advice etc. But the posts they reply to are no were to be seen in the forum. How strange is that.

In the mean time you could do what I have done and go to your preferences and un friend the idiot who is destroying this forum with the rubbish he is posting.

And then we can get back to shooting related stuff and more importantly COVAD 19 stuff he has devastated with the rubbish he posts.
