I wonder what the possibility is of developing and utalising that section of the range more, especially with electronic targets set up at intermediate ranges. Pay to play zeroing facility perhaps?
I seem to remember being told that the 300m range was run by the 300m Club and if you go direct there is a possibility of booking it as an NRA member when it otherwise is not in use. Never tried it as I've never had a need.

Just in all my years visiting Bisley I can't say that I have seen it used very often. In fact I can't recall seeing it used more than once and that was a long time ago.
It is used whenever access is possible - about 8 weekends per year. Access is rarely possible because BSG falls in the danger area of the 300m range (or any shooting at shorter distances at the left hand side of Century, hence the stupid reverse echelon arrangements that have been in place for the last decade or so).
