Couldn't agree more, I think it's ludicrous I really would welcome a debate in parliament on this issue, I think some people in our government need education and we want to see change.
Do you think the outcome of that discussion would be;

A/ Oh how silly we've been, lets put full-bore rifles back into Section 1 of the firearms act OR

B/ Holy sh*t, look at that weapon of mass destruction, how the hell did we not know about this, lets ban them immediately

I would hope with some education it would be option A, like people have said previously you can have a semi automatic .22lr which has the potential to kill, why not a .223 or .308? I just feel the restrictions are a bit silly that's all.

The restrictions are OTT but IMO that is most definitely not the way to broach the topic with the either the British public or politicians
