Everyone knows that they way police Scotland is operating firearms licensing is untenable and no one in their right mind would implement such a system, unless it was only a temporary measure.
Within two years of of that scumbag cameroon devolving firearms licensing powers to Holyrood the private ownership of firearms in Scotland will be banned.
The police know this, and want it, they have saved money by getting rid of firearms licensing staff and are prepared to put up with copper time being diverted to it and the mess that it will create as it will all be of no consequence when they implement the ban.
Eventually they will get full powers like NI ! When they announce the ban on all firearms (except for the state of course ) the compensation bill will bankrupt the 'state' wannabe government although I suspect they won't let a little things like constitutional rights get in the way !

Very true unless the NRA or other shooting organisations get the balls to take Scotland to the law lords
Remember Constitutional rights are outdated and do not belong in a modern liberal cilvilised society says the media, acpo and the sheeple

I can imagine all the media spin about how they will not give any compensation because they refuse to give Scottish taxpayers money to criminals and the rich english lords who use Scotland as their own private hunting grounds.
Nevermind all those normal people they will be shafting.
Just spoke to a FEO (Uniformed), asked him what was happening at Police Scotland licensing, he said they had paid off. half of their staff due to pressure from Scottish Office i,e, the SNP.
I said people are complaining they don't answer their phone and they are not returning answer phone messages, he said he was having the same problem.

I guess building a police state on their watch takes some work then? How long until Scottish gun owners are official refugees when they move to England?
