Nope. I refuse to butcher further an already butchered firearm. Semi-auto is the way forward.

I do not have one but thinking about VZ58-with LEFT side charging handle,it will help a lot stay on target.Other thing is-consider .22wmr as semi-auto,to get some ammo is PITA but hey-it is all about compromising,lets face it...I am also big fun of semi-auto,M1 carbine for example-full auto for some reason is not my cup of tea

We'll see semi-auto before we see handguns (despite the fact that NI proves they're no danger to the public).

Imagine sending your SP off to get proper gas parts fitted and coming back all semi-auto. Moist with anticipation!

Yes please! would it actually be possible to that, i imagine, the following would have to happen (just thinking through my AR here...):
-gas port in the barrel
-gas tube/ function piston depending on firearm type/ model
-Amends to the carrier group

Anything else anyone can think of?

A straight pull AK just needs a gas port in the barrel, a gas block thats ported and a gas piston and thats it no mods to bolt carrier as a semi-auto bolt carrier is the same as the straight pull carrier.

Well put, at the end of the day we are all shooters whether we shoot thousands of pounds worth of precision target rifle or a £50 shotgun.

Short answer is; you can't. It would have to be built from scratch as a trigger release and no one does it.
