The problem with all reporting is that it is done by scumbag journalists so has no factual value at all.
Now I know that is a sweeping generalisation and there will be examples of where that is not true but they are so few and far between as to make no difference to my statement.

I've known a few authors because of a previous hobby and they are people just like you and I who decided to write a book. As you've said, just because it's in print doesn't make it correct.

Just because you read something in a book or newspaper article does not mean it is true. In this day and age there is so much info circulating, it is news 24/7/365 nonstop and some of it is bound to be wrong, misquoted, deliberate lies for whatever purpose the source has.
Look at the source of the info, as an example if you look at the Labour election manifest don't you think the Labour election press machine will do their best to make Labour look good, we all know they are not...
Do some research and then make your mind up.

The problem with the gun trade is there are too many miserable old buggers who'd rather throw their wares off a cliff than admit times have changed.
Now I know that is a sweeping generalisation and there will be examples of where that is not true but they are so few and far between as to make no difference to my statement.

Enfield Enthusiast wrote:Guys, I really don't give a damn what any of you think, because I know what I read in that book & it was in Bexleyheath Library. It was an interesting read. That book mentioned Noye as a gun owner & a mason. that bloke had names of villians on his phone who I've heard of. An Adams brother was one of them. I saw his contact list & I know what it said. Also Noye was a known face in my area & I've seen him
Do you actually think it would be sensible to ask detailed questions on known villians, as a stranger ?
Possibly not. But we're beginning to wish you had.

If you look at Mr Enthusiast's last post in the thread you will see that he has decided to be a member here no more, so further posts to him are wasted.
