As a general response I have this to say to ALL Shooters.

It does not matter what you shoot, what discipline you follow, what aspect of the sport you participate in, YOU have made your CHOICE, allow others to have that same prerogative, CHOICE.

Support Shooting for all, it is an all inclusive sport.

Consider the following for a moment:
Air Gun Licensing in Scotland.
SNP Proposals to include shotgun shells on Certificates limiting hold and buy levels as per FAC.
The declared Labour Party proposal to make obtaining your FAC more stringent.
EU revision of the 1991 Firearms Directive (Did you read the consultation document, was it biased?)

There is more, so next time when it is your sport, or discipline that becomes the target for greater scrutiny, would you like help with that?

http://firearmsuk.org/unity/ and this too, we have even prepared template letters for you so you can copy and paste http://firearmsuk.org/the-2014-european ... elections/

Please, just support shooting for the sake of it!

Is he not a moderator?
therefore he has been chosen by the owner of this forum to have the power to remove posts.
Yes if someone has done something WRONG not just because he doesn't agree with them!
this forum belongs to someone, that person will have appointed Dormia as a moderator. its there property and they can do as they wish e.g decide what counts as right or wrong, the point is that Nfrancis just keeps hijacking these threads to tell us that pistols should be banned, if we support gun ownership rather than shooting we like dead children (or atleast that's what I got from his posts on the last thread) and that we should all shoot gallery rifle instead. this isn't a free speech issue as it will be private property.

If I understood one iota of what you said - I'd probably disagree.

Carry on anyway - I'll just go shooting.....

(By the way - do you actually know what Gallery Rifle is and why it exists?)

Actually it is - The owners and moderator of the forum allow a lot of it, and it's one of the things that sets it aside from other forums - obviously Dromia and Christel have to put their moderator hat on now and then, but usually only to enforce the stated rules...other than that they 'debate' on equal terms to the rest of us.

I have never seen Nfrancis say or imply that pistols should be banned...I don't know where your getting that from.

I take it you didn't read the last thread on this subject?

I do... I guess many others do as well

However - this is politics, not shooting. Please try not to mix the two up....

I did, and my impression was that he was saying (about the ban), 'get over it, and get on with it'...which while a bit insensitive on a shooting forum, I do get it to some point...

Yes and I was going to start doing it when my living and employment situation became more permanent. now after seeing how its representatives react to other shooters I'm not so sure.
Gallery Rifle is typically pistol calibre rifles competing on similar courses of fire to those used in the pistol days.
GR small bore is the same thing but with .22 semi auto rifles.
LBR and LBP generally come under the same thing.
It exists as I understand it to replace pistol shooting, because it uses the same ranges. and the same calibres.
but that's irrelevant.
