The West Australian does print shoot results.... BUT
2010 was the first year the West Australian Queens Prize winners photo was not published. No one understands why. The photographer was present, I directed him to come up to where I was taking photos.
You just reminded me aboutan ABC Stateline did on some of the under 25's in 2009... let me look for the link....

AC,
Great report, but how could you let a Victorian win!
It was fantastic to hear a WA accent again.
The GG's decision was disappointing, but I guess expected.

Unofficially that would be me. If I was to suggest that we publish names and/or photos of members the committee would have a fit. You would not believe the hassle I had convincing them to let me doth web site.

I belong to the Tiverton Smallbore Rifle Club and as long as I submit the information on time the local paper will print all the match results. They also have done two articles about the club, in the last 5 years, which have resulted in a good membership boost. We must be proud of our sport!

Agree!
All sporting codes are careful what they release to the public. We are one of the world's safest sports, we need to be proud of this fact. Publicity has not hurt our club membership, in fact the opposite has happened.
