Yep, pretty much had the same decision to make myself and started off a thread asking that very question. This can turn into a bit of a slagging match so my advice is quite simple. Try all of them, if you can, and choose the one YOU like the best. They are all very good quality gun builders it just depends on what you prefer. Click on the below link for the thread I started a while ago.tkd67 wrote:Since my previous posts I've done a lot of research into AR-15's, and have now bought a second hand .22.
I want to get a .223 (probably new) and have been recommended Southern Gun Company, Lantac and Bradley Arms. I know nothing about any of them, can anybody point me in the direction of which is the best?
Not heard of them. Do you know who the UK retailer is? smile2SevenSixTwo wrote:Don't forget the LMT option.

I'm surprised! LMT (Lewis Machine and Tool) are generally regarded to be one of the top five AR-15 manufacturers in the world. See NWCP.Ben Denise wrote:Not heard of them. Do you know who the UK retailer is? smile2SevenSixTwo wrote:Don't forget the LMT option.
Because it was, it has an interesting history, I can't remember the details but not ex-UK mil IIRC. I was shooting that match I didn't see you maybe I was on the other detail.Ben Denise wrote:
I did manage to get along to last weekends CSR match and had a brief chat with a few people. Most of them seemed to be shooting Bradleys, a few had SGC and I didn't see any Lantac. That's not to say there weren't any there, I just didn't see them. One chap even had what looked like an SA-80.
Cheers
