.303 British or .50 BMG :shakeshout: They were banned in 1937 even though 0 crimes were ever commited with them...probably because they were too bloody heavy to cart round lol

I am refering to the Machine gun not the Shotguns Meles Meles   The ultimate weapon in pest control shot of a daisycutter hehehehe

Yes, ooman, we thoroughly understood what you meant. We just think that a Vickers HMG spitting out 600 rounds of either 12 or 16 bore might make it more likely that you'd hit something...

How quickly would you get bored of that when it chews its way through say 75 cartridges a minute? £15 a minute to run!!!

A comment echoing that of, I think, the King of Denmark when Maxim demonstrated his eponymous automatic gun's reliability to their army by firing it non-stop for 30 minutes.

"Very impressive," said the King, "but I am afraid that purchasing such a weapon would bankrupt my kingdom in just a few days"

I think that's a bit unfair 762, I will be very surprised and dissapointed if they don't complain. They appear to be more pro-active and reactive to such matters than some organisations. I just hope all the other shooting orgnisations jump on it too especially the NRA.
I have just fired off my complaint to the editor and the press complaints and will urge all my fellow club shooters to do so also.

Any shooter decrying ANY other discipline or saying "XYZ gun is no use in sport" should be kicked out of whatever club they are in and blacklisted for life..

These people are not shooters or true spoertsmen, just ammo wasters and self interested traitors to our sport. I hope the Yanks send a clear message to the anti's.
