Yardley is a buffoon. To my mind he's a fraud, and a charlatan. Pay him no heed. If you see an article of his in print, don't buy the publication and tell the publishers why. See him on TV, call the station and let the editors know their story had no credibility because Yardley has no credibility. See him at a shown tell him what you think of him.

Yardley is one confused and worrying individual.
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Most who post here promoting AR rifles, meantime, have never had to sit in a studio with a hostile interviewer clutching a copy of a gun magazine open on a page advertising these weapons: "so what are there for?". I can still here the question and I did not know how to answer it well. Good Shooting. Happy Christmas. Be kind.
Well he could look into a spell checker at least...

Aside from that it can be quite fun looking through his facebook page looking for his gems of wisdom how about:

Looking at the space mania currently gripping the British media, it seems quite clear that much of it is being choreographed centrally. It is not just the product of a normal editorial process. I would love to see the mechanism/s that do this revealed. So much 'news' seems orchestrated towards agendas that are not openly revealed lately. The BBC, for example, should tell us more frankly about its departments that control programme content.
Might it not be Mike that:

1) There is a British Astronaut funded by the British tax payer off on a mission to the ISS
2) 24hr news channels have to fill their time reporting something and the above fact is a rather newsworthy event

He is a fascinating character, in his opinion people doing this are dangerous paramilitary style fantasists damaging the image of the sport:

Whilst thinking that pictures of himself doing this in Africa cause no damage whatsoever to the public image of shooting:

Personally I support both activities and think his insulting divisive comments hurt us all!

Or this, he is just a man of the people in touch with the common man and regular sports shooter:

Read the article and look at the pictures of our shooter in touch with regular people lol

The irony is I will happily defend his right to go have fun in Hungary on a Browning sponsored shoot, looks like plenty of fun.

Old story...however according to the DM Mike Yardley is a leading shooting instructor.
And Mike Yardley, a leading shooting instructor, said having people standing in front of a shooter was ‘bad practice’.
"Bad practice" I would call having people in front of a shooter a lot more than that wtf

Anyway, as we all know it is an old story with a bad camera angle. Just that MY was referenced. Shout loud enough and you will be heard.

He obviously likes the attention when he posts something controversial, probably best ignoring him.
