Re: Show us your rimfire's
I picked up a 10/22 for £100 and tarted the internals up with my leftover bits from the ruger drawer, so when you added it up it looked pretty reasonable.
I also had to make a shim for the trigger, feels completely different to factory kit now, there's next to no take up and a lovely short reset.
Mag changes are easier than with a stock 10/22 as well.
It's no target rifle but a great steels plinker.

Re: Show us your rimfire's
Did a little more to my build, but I really can't see what else can be done to her now.
Added some brown Krylon as I thought my original camo was a little too plain.
I also got rid of the Nikko Stirling Gameking 3-9x40. I bought it as it was cheap for my first ever attempt at painting a scope. The paint job went well, but the actual scope is bloody terrible, cloudy lenses and just all round rubbish, so have put a Vortex cantilever mount and Vortex Crossfire ii 3-9x50 V-brite on there. I know the Crossfire is Vortex's budget range but this scope is lightyears ahead of the Gameking, well worth the money.
Hope you enjoy the pics, I can now say this project is firmly finished.

Re: Show us your rimfire's
mine was pre tarted, I just added an extended bolt and longer release lever from Rudefatdog, it was just no fun!safetyfirst wrote:I picked up a 10/22 for £100 and tarted the internals up with my leftover bits from the ruger drawer, so when you added it up it looked pretty reasonable.
