Re: Nitro Muzzle Loading Conversion
Has Alan got the production of the additional cylinders under way now? His website says that it's coming soon..
I'm debating putting a muzzle loader on my FAC application for one of these specifically but I'd really like to see some comps, or some interest in some comps before I bought one.

If you want a comp - organise it. Why wait for someone else to do it for you?techguy wrote:Has Alan got the production of the additional cylinders under way now? His website says that it's coming soon..

If you build it - they will come.

Yeah, that's true... :)
I'll stick one on my FAC application, and purchase one and look into organising some comps (probably wont have my FAC until next year though)
I'll ask around the clubs I'm a member of, and report back. I'll start a new thread on here too actually :)

Well, not really. Target Shooter has never been a paper magazine.dromia wrote:Me too so I don't bother with the electronic version too hard on my eyes.
Shame really as it has some interesting stuff from time to time. It used to be a real paper magazine but the circulation didn't meet the cost of production so a few worthy souls kept it alive electronically.
Two of Target Sports 'occasional' contributors started Target Shooter when Blaze Publishing closed Target Sports when, as you correctly state, circulation didn't meet the cost of production.
I think we would all prefer to read a paper publication but not all of us would be prepared to pay for it.
Worthy soul.

Looking at the Target Shooter website it says printed versions coming soon, so maybe they will go for a subscription based relaunch of the magazine.Gun Pimp wrote:Well, not really. Re: Nitro Muzzle Loading Conversion
Me too if it had more practical shooting. I used to read it online every month, but it seemed like it was mainly focused on F class and smallbore. It did/does have a section on practical shooting, but I want MORE :)

I suspect the content is dependant on people creating it in the first instance.

This is the problem with a sport as diverse as shooting. We all love different bits. It's muzzle loading for me !!!techguy wrote:Me too if it had more practical shooting. Problem for the magazine people.
