I will use the one that is on my Target Shotgun for the time being, of course it would be nice to have a Trijon or Eotech but we all know how expensive they are.
I plan on having a scope and a red dot at 45degrees on a forward rail for close up targets.

How easy is it to get to the bolt release on the left hand side and are you allowed to move it? I have always thought they could be changed to give a larger and more reachable contact area for the thumb.

For my largish hands, the lever is no problem at all (at home - range may find problems).
You would be unable to change the position due to the mechanics and it s pretty large on this model. It does not require much pressure to release the bolt but does have to be moved roughly 40 degrees to achieve this.

With Bushnell 1.5 - 4.5 scope mounted. Even with these high mounts the scope is only just high enough for a good sight picture.

NWCP has/had refurbished ACOGs for under £500 if that's any good?
