I have got a Target Master Powder Dribbler a great piece of kit but it does not help with bridging.

When a loose substance such as sugar, sand, grains of propellant etc creates a blockage in a pipe, tube, or other device it should flow through. This is caused by the grains sticking together and/or interlocking to create a 'bridge', hence the name.

The answer with volumetric measures is to tap the body with a wooden dowel, spoon or whatever, this also helping the kernels settle in the chamber to improve consistency. Older measures often included a small hinged 'knocker', just like a miniature doorknocker for this purpose. AFAIK only the Lyman model 55 measure still has this feature.

I have more than one RCBS powder thrower, in fact, I have at least five powder dispensers. I just noticed the other RCBS one has a toffee hammer taped to it now I remember why.
I got some Mlok thingy,s so I can mount a harris bipod on it.
Once I get it sorted I'm hoping to pop up to Gardners guns sight it in and shoot it at a mile.

hmm whats next oh yeah mount the scope and bore sight it.

Problem solved a quick tap with the toffee hammer each rotation and every thing is fine.
Spent this evening loading a couple of rounds. I should have quick load to morrow then Im good to go.
I have also ordered a bump gauge and cartridge overall length gauge from David and Christel at the Shooting Shed.
