Quite possibly. However it would likely interfere with shooting the gun weak shouldered/handed, and you'd be back to the problem with the SGC lever release gun in that you need to have the timing of a pro drummer to get it to work quickly and reliably.

not if you bring it along the line of the trigger guard on both sides, bending outwards as it nears the pistol grip so it clears your hand. index finger will be above on the trigger, thumb in a nice position to press down no matter which hand its holding it.
When guns are outlawed, only Outlaws will have guns

When I last talked to them that seemed the idea on the table and seems the best one at the moment as it stands.bradaz11 wrote:not if you bring it along the line of the trigger guard on both sides, bending outwards as it nears the pistol grip so it clears your hand. index finger will be above on the trigger, thumb in a nice position to press down no matter which hand its holding it.

In idle conversation with an FEO he reckoned once a definition could be formulated by the tech heads in the home office, these "interrupted semi autos" may become the object of unfair attention...
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Wtf do FEO's know about Home Office shenanigans? Most of them don't seem to know what's going on now.Sim G wrote:In idle conversation with an FEO he reckoned once a definition could be formulated by the tech heads in the home office, these "interrupted semi autos" may become the object of unfair attention...

Re: section one robinson arms xcr
The definition already exists, which is why the action type is UK legal.

No, there is no definition of the type and the mechanisms are currently UK legal because they don't fall within those already defined as prohibited.

I appreciate under UK law everything is legal unless there's a law prohibiting it, but I'm not sure I follow your logic on this. Isn't that like saying a bolt action rifle isn't defined by the home office? Surely it must be, in order to decide whether they should prohibit it or not and issue a licence against it?

My FLO is also over the moon that hand guns were banned and he will be VERY unhappy if something will change in shooters favour....ex policeman he is.....
And why MARS or LR rifle must be also banned Sim?-not used in any mass shootings, terror atacks or bank jobs...why not combine some will and power and try to lift this stupid ban-the best defence is atack...why speed cameras can be removed, also speed limits pushed up?why so many poeple underestimates his powers and limits?why so many thinks it is done forever?-and something like French Revolution or big asteroid strike opens locked minds and we can start again, when hamster mad wheel is finaly broken...
