If it is NOT written in then it will be your loss. They will simply turn round and say - "you're not party to this, get lost". Only a fool would trust these people.

if the various organisations ARE involved then write it in - simple! e all know how the "agreements and guidelines" are corrupted to suit an altogether different agenda.

Simply they won't ! They ( most of the shooting organisations) for some reason never stand up to the government! That section you would of expect a labour administration to write in not a Tory one !
If this goes through without any modification which it prob will what's to stop the home office with the urging of acpo etc to Make target shooting no longer a good reason in the future!

Another amendment to act I would put the following:-

An agent of the state that infringes, frustrates or otherwise the lawfull rights of any fac holder or fac applicantion unlawfully shell commit an offence and shell be liable on conviction on indictment to imprisonment for life !

Is everyone aware that as it stands right now - and indeed has done since the 68 act came in - the Sec of State never had to consult anyone..........and it's been that way for 48 years

I'm not saying don't change it - just bringing it to everyones attention just in case it wasn't widely known - start at part IV and sections 53 and 55 particularly:

http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1968/27/contents.

Consultation doesn't really mean squat anyway - I could consult you lot as to what gun to buy and then go buy a catapult. Sec State can do same - "I consulted XYZ Association of Buffalo and Badger Wrangling and concluded that they were wrong so I banned .45-70 and Sharps carbines so nur"

CLAUSE 81 of POLICE & CRIME BILL

#46 Post by leeroy7031 »

Please review and vote accordingly ...

CLAUSE 81 of POLICE & CRIME BILL

While we've all been looking at the EU referendum, this clause has crept past.

Clause 81 of the police and crime bill would give the police, and only the police, the right to be consulted by the Home Secretary when making amendments to Home Office guide on firearms law. Please have a read and, if so moved, sign the petition:

Owning a handgun doesn't make you armed any more than owning a guitar makes you a musician ............ "Lieutenant Colonel Jeff Cooper"
