I am with you on this Breacher and reading this with disbelief, knowing Blu and his background I would say he was very well placed to comment, certainly more than some.

What is going on with this forum, people seem to be taking as much pleasure questioning and ripping into others as actively contributing and judging by the look on our forum administrators face this is an incredibly dim path to take.
Its a real shame that this behaviour is tolerated, it's the few that spoil it for the many.
I can assure you it is not tolerated. Action is being taken.

My apologies for my part in that bit of discussion, didn't mean to cause any bother.

I think this thread is going to be "moderated", "suppressed", and then "silenced"... :D

Interesting thread...

The Cambridge Academic Dictionary :-
Defines "Silencer" as "a piece of equipment that you use on a gun to reduce the noise made when it fires".
Defines a "moderator" as "someone who tries to help other people come to an agreement"
and Defines a "suppressor" as "a thing or person that prevents something bad from happening".

I call it a "Can". Dunno where I got this from.. must of picked it up from someone down the range.

As for the W word. I relate this to a firearm used to kill something. Like Pidgeons, Rats etc..

In general conversation I use "gun" or "rifle" or "shotgun".

If someone uses any word to describe a firearm I accept that is what they call it.
I know some people who call their todger a weapon.

I wonder if they call a condom a suppressor?

Gun

Works for me, but I cant say I get upset about any of it although it seems I'm 'supposed' to be upset by weapon, but, for me? Meh.

One of the older members at my club gets upset about the word gun! He insists they are rifles/firearms and saying "guns" makes him antsy wtf
