My apologies, I don't seem to have answered all of your questions: I was not in the sport at the time of the Bans. I did not have my property taken from me. But you know what?
I know those who have. I have spoken to those who have. I myself, and many other shooters have been affected by 'The Bans' by the simple fact that they stop us from doing things we might otherwise have done.
I can say with almost absolute confidence that neither you nor I were around when the BoR was passed. Or when King James seized arms from protestants. It's a good thing that that does not prohibit us from discussing it, isn't it?

It probably won't be long before discussing it is prohibited.....

So, can you clarify for me, what law when you say, "By the wording of the Law, it allows Protestants to Bear arms, and only then 'as allowed by law'?
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

RKBA isn't about "guns". You need to separate that.

"Guns" (I'm not sure why a common word for firearm is in inverted commas, but I'll go with it :D ) are weapons, or 'Arms'. That is what the RKBA is referring to: the right to keep and bear weapons. I hope that has clarified things. (In case of confusion, 'Arms' is another word for weapons, firearms are by most people's reckoning Weapons, or at least have the potential to be used as such.)

It's a right to have arms for "defence suitable to his condition and as allowed by law"
Protestants and as allowed by law would be interemted by the high court !

Guns was put into inverted commas as a catch all due to the differential between firearms, shotguns and even artillery as far as the meaning of is concerned, to some, on the forum.

So if you concede that arms encompasses all types of weapons, why would your RKBA argument revolve around a positive information campaign of the lawful use of guns?

And again, what was the law you were referring to in "By the wording of the Law, it allows Protestants to Bear arms, and only then 'as allowed by law"?

The campaign would promote the use of Guns because Many other Small arms are already legal to possess if not to carry in public, whereas Many Firearms are not (practically) legal for citizens to own. It seems strange that you would challenge reference to promoting Firearms on a Forum about Firearms and Shooting.
The law I was referring to was the 1688 (or 1689) Bill of Rights. It has been discussed quite a bit earlier in this thread, so refer to previous posts (or even the stationary office) for further info regarding the BoR
