- 100 x 123gr 6.5 Scenar's (£22.42 vs UK price of approx £35 per hundred)
- 100 x 6.5x47 Lapua Brass Cases (£71.08 at the time vs UK price of approx £110 per hundred)
Poastage was 17 Euro for the above, bargain.
Total shipment time was around 1 month for the .308 bullets and about 2 months for the rest. Reasoning for late delivery on the latter was down to miscommunication from Lapua.
I saved a ton of money by buying the above from Germany, and unless I urgently needed bullets to load up for the following weekend I wouldn't bother buying locally. We're not talking a few quid here, we're talking around £180 saved on an order worth £300! Just over 30% saving.
Did you get hit for UK import tax?, or does that not apply for goods from the EU
You are correct, it is within EU so no import charge. What I paid to Ballistic Service is all I paid.

Plus 1 for Alpinhunting. Rapid email response, good estimate of delivery, good price. Will use again. These were Norma bullets I can't get in the UK. If I can I use my local RFD. He's too good and I give him what support I can.

+1 for grauwolf, they supplied a die in 6 weeks , for which the best time scale offered in the uk was 3-6 months. And it was considerably cheaper. The die was an rcbs stock item.

Well my last order from WR Schiesssport via eGun.de turned up last Saturday just before me going away, 1000 x Nosler CC 140gr 6.5mm. In total £232, a bit more due to the current poor exchange rate but still about £100 cheaper than I can get similar quality bullets from here in the UK.
I just look at Grauwolf, very expensive for Noslers!, €379.50/1000 compared to €266/100 from WR Schiesssport
