Make sure you use 99.9% pure Isopropanol, around 12 to 14% liquid lanolin and warm both up before mixing (stand in a sink full of hot water), it's pretty good stuff (but not as good as the RCBS Case Slick spray I have!) just remember to give it time to evaporate before sizing as it can be pretty wet

Rubbish. Mislspec or Milsurp is reload able it just is not often worth the bother.
Berdan primers are available in both large and small. Berdan de-priming tools are also available. The difference is that reloading boxer primed cases is just easier all round. (I do know people who ONLY reload Berdan brass)

Before spending a single penny on reloading kit, get someone who is doing it to show you how. You might then want to revise the list that you have.
Come on now pay attention read the thread keep up the Guy is brand new he has not even got any reloading gear yet. We are working on that. If the cases are Berdan primed he is stuffed as I said
HE will not be able to reload them. On the other hand I can reload them no problem but that's not the point.

It's cool. I will only ever be using GGG ~ or PPU brass at a push.

IMO once you start, accuracy will become a big driving force with your ammo. I measure my loads down to the kernel let alone the grain. Why wouldn't you?

Then I would look at some other parts of your reloading process.
I have never noticed a difference out to 1000 yrds of 1/10 of a grain +/- in a 40+ gn load, but then no doubt you are a better shot than I.

Right, I've got all the kit and the pump handle thingy. Fast work by Mr Krankenstein. Thanks for everyone's help.
I'll reload some 7.62 today for the lolz but I can't be bothered reading all that 'load table' rubbish. A friend has given me some Hodgdon H50BMG powder - should I just start off with, say, a heaped tablespoon of it and work down?
