No offence taken, the 88 amendment was a crude hatchet job, even if you conceed the need to restrict certain concealable automatic firearms, banning service firearms like the L1, AR15 and the Garand and was stupid and lazy law making....

Unfortunately, the same thing happened with the pistol ban ten years later.....

But our beloved self important and corrupt politicians must be seen to placate the great unwashed !

No worries buddy! At least we know where we stand!

Personally I would be delighted to add a straight put Stgw57 to my collection i hope that I get a chance.

On a serious note a 7.62x39 Fal WOULD 100% BE ON MY LIST.

7.62-39 fal would be interesting! Sadly if what I am hearing is true, the whole thing is academic, I keep hearing in the trade that Tony has closed the business and retired...

Still trying to find out if that's true or not.

I have one of Gavin's Anglo Custom L1A1's.

I also have in my FAC wallet a copy of the email when the Forensic Science Service signed it off as S.1 legal. Job done.

My FEO has seen the rifle several times, the first time he saw it all he was worried about was trying to remember his rifle drill with it from when he used one in the forces clapclap .

I will have an ask about tomorrow if Tony is still going as I will be shooting with some of his fellow club members. Has anyone tried giving him a ring as his number is on Google (AR Buckland, Stoke Holy Cross, Norfolk)
