Just a thought I got the email from BASC who are obviously behind the petition are any of the other shooting bodies making any move to get behind it. Any NRA members heard any thing from them.

I believe my colleagues have been liaising with the NRA, although I'm not able to confirm any level of support they may have offered at this time.

Come on all you ex pistol shooters that would be almost 57000 signatures, so I'm reliable informed by my club secretary.

The e-petition frame work provides a convenient target of 100k, I firmly believe there is potential to smash that target if full support can be mobilized and sustained.
For every individual who has signed; they can encourage friends, family and co-workers to also sign. Every organisation who has given support, not all are public yet can promote the campaign and petition to the extent that BASC is already doing and use their own organisations networks to mobilize its member base to supporting the initiative and we at Firearms UK and our official supporters continue to liaise with other organisations to recruit even more support.
We can win here, but we have to be positive and proactive in our approach, in my own opinion.

Thanks. What happens if we breach 100k? What are the next steps?
