I feel so very sorry for small AR15 specialist companies like Spikes Tactical.

I fear they (and all there employees) will pay the price for this.

I can't believe Obalma will stop short of anything less than an "assault rifle ban"

He will be shooting himself in the foot with his supporters if he holds back.

After all, his core vote is, by-en-large "the anti gun, sandal waring, muesli eating brigade" isn't it?

At least these things aren't retrospectively applied in the States, so I suppose Plod won't knock on your door and take your existing AR/AK's away.

That's because in general, "plod" doesn't know who's got them......
In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guns dont kill people. Dads with pretty Daughters do...!

Well all companies selling or manufacturing AR related items are certainly making hay at the moment. Obama has done more for the AR business than an advert during half time at the Superbowl!

An AR ban didn't kill off the rifle in the 90s so why do people think it should be any different this time if it goes ahead, which it wont as he will not get a ban through Congress and Executive Order will be tied up in the Courts for years.

When all the hype goes away, I think a ban on high cap mags, background checks and greater inter state and federal cooperation will be the end results.
It's not the pace of life that concerns me, it's the sudden stop at the end!

Banning hi cap mags is pointless. Cou can change a 10 round mag as quick as a fifteen, so can anyone else on here..

How about banning criminals.....

You mean address the cause of the illness and not the symptoms?? Surely that would mean there would be people personally responsible for their actions and there hasn't been a recorded case of that for at least 25 years!

No, no, lets continue to play 'Whack-a-mole' for the rest of time, its so much fun(!) :cool2:

It's all daft, but not as daft as the Scottish Airgun ban, sorry licensing, which I have just read and cannot believe!
