A 'friend' of mine bought the paper for me thinking i'd be interested. I was har-harring with laughter reading the drivel until i realised that people who know nothing about guns might actually think there was an ounce of truth in what was printed :bad:

And I don't know where they got the picture from, but either someone is a trolling genius or someone who really has no idea set it up, the frickin' scope is on backwards FFS!! clapclap

Thought someone else might have picked this up - apologies if I've missed it

Not the story (usual rubbish) but worth reading the comments at the bottom - seem to be mainly pro-shooting and not what I expected.

Interesting!

love

Oh and I love this comment

"It's got black plastic parts and looks scary! Just seeing something that looks kind of like something else I don't approve of is enough to make me want it gone, even though I really don't know anything about it's function except that it is a bullet hose that can fire heat-seeking cop-killing ammo that can fire through buildings and could probably blow up the Moon. I mean look at it. It has the shoulder thing that goes up, a barrel shroud, and probably gets more thrusts per squeeze. Ban it, ban it before I wet myself out of fear!"

The worst part of this is there are shooters posting in the comments saying guns like this have no use and should be baned.

I now I am new to shooting but should ant we all be sticking together when things like this happen NO MATER WHAT GUNS AND DISCIPLINES WE SHOOT.

Agreed :good: :goodjob: If it shoots...we should defend it...including air pistols/rifles since the SNP are threatening them ;)

Didn't sound so at the begining of this thread........

I meant that as a dislike (Aesthetic dislike) for the GSG Clones rather than Semi auto's in general, the ruger 10/22 can have the same mags, attachments a GSG can have but the Ruger has a wooden stock  *Drools*.....Its a personal preference I was voicing ;) I don't want them banned at all...its just that I would never buy one myself thats all. Hope this clarifies what I was saying tongueout I if anything want a lot unbanned

If you like the GSG's...no problem  I do like the look of the GSG STG44 though lol...I'd rather have the full AK-47, MP44 than a .22 clone

The comment i saw was some one how claimed to be an ex gamekeeper and stated the only rifle people need was a bolt gun like a CZ.

All to do with self interest as usual. Shooters in this country need to wise up a bit. Chipping away piecemeal has left us without handguns and semi auto cf rifles. We have a lot more red tape now too. In the US things are resisted because that is a slippery slope. We need to stick together and make a similar stance.

It is silly sometimes because there are logical things which are sensible and should be done (mostly we do here anyway, e.g. registration, training). They are rejected because the antis are so rabid about it.

All completely nuts...

A bolt CZ rifle is good against a few bunnies....but when you have hundreds of them and need to clear them fast...a semi auto .22 with a large magazine is the only way...unless the Govt re-legalises Vickers Belt feds
