don't you think that might be a bit inflamatory ? you know how touchy the frogs are !

they were very upset when we sunk there fleet at harbour (twice) they may not have forgiven us yet even!

Well, first shoot was Sunday, was a blast..., or twang, I guess.

We shot at 25 yards, I've only ever shot 25 yards with a .22LR rifle or a BP revolver, so I scoffed at the range... I was a fool, a fools I tells you. 25 yards with a bow is actually quite a challenge, well, for a noobie it is. However I was impressed that I managed to hold my own, score-wise, and only had 3 arrows miss the boss completely.

I'm amazed at the kit some of these people have. I was using a standard take-down recurve MkI, but other were using these things that looked like the love child of a bow and a railgun.

Great fun, definitely going to carry on.

We know of some folk that have done such activities closer to home...Flodden/Branxton Moor & Halidon Hill being two that have seen 'ickle cloth yard shafts flying through the clear blue sky

A similar trip to France sounds like fun...will check with the small one to see if he fancies a trip out
