had a play with my l129a1 on zero range, brilliant and the recoil isnt alot compared to other 7.62mm rifles, did a function test where i fired a mag as fast as possable, no extraction issues at all! very smooth and throws the cases quite a distance. also fired rws .308 nra match and it was smooth and no probs ! the only thing though its heavy to hold when standing up firing !

Hmmm, what can the L129A1 do that the old mechanical musket (SLR) can't ?

Even if I had it yet I still wouldn't know! I'm not into all that MOA/Scoring nonsense...

MOA's just the accuracy of the rifle at a given distance. i.e. 1 inch group @ 100 yards = 1 MOA (Minute Of Angle). I assume it's sub 1 MOA with a good scope.

Wayne's had a fair few pass through since you said you ordered one, especially as you recommended the Elcan scopes the other day, I assume you had your rifle. Any idea on delivery time or is that a sore subject?
