Their raison d'etre is to make money and have a monopoly.

All proof means is that the firearm didn't let go with the proof round and was safe then, bit like an MoT only valid at that point in time. Meaningless after that.

I agree, Proof was a good thing during days of old when firearm barrels were made from iron and faults were difficult to detect. But today its a lot less relevant with modern materials and manufacturing processes (The subject of this thread is perhaps the exemption!)

It's the equivalent of getting a mechanic to rev the bo...cks out of your brand new car for two hours.....and declare it will never blow up because it didn't this time.....!!

In fact, discuss proofing with any matologist.... and they will tell you its barking mad!

Both Glock versions using Bob's own receivers (rather than a modded 3rd party one)

I have a 9mm one and it works feeds just fine I do only use factory s&b 115grn ammo in it.
The only problem I have with sgc is everything takes so long and the customer service is appalling.

I can only comment on mine and for the amount of rifles out there 2 out of probably 200 I would suspect a jubious reload or operator error rather than equipment malfunction.
