It is fair to say that a good number of club shooters are generally unaware of the current situation.
I have been keeping three other SGC 9mm owners up to speed.

I've been spreading the word in clubs I shoot with, perhaps we all need to do this, if they hear more than once it won't hurt. I've been urging everyone to do the online consultation, the Home Office will publish the results.
Careful now/that sort of thing

Tell them what you think about the proposed new legislation.

In 1978 I was told by my grand dad that the secret to rifle accuracy is, a quality bullet, fired down a quality barrel..... How has that changed?

Guys I think moving my link to this page was a wrong decision by the mods. I don't think as many people will find the link on this page as easily.

Just the survey regarding the consultation http://www.homeofficesurveys.homeoffice.gov.uk/s/WX2TN/
One of our club members made a good point if you have yet to complete the survey -

For everyone who's completing the survey don't forget to answer the section on the disability act.

The lever release and MARs systems both allow disabled shooters who have disabilities relating to fine or other motor skills to target shoot in a way that other types of rifles ie Straight pull, Lever action and bolt action rifles may not.

This could also apply to anyone with an upper body disability.
Had a similar vein of thought myself.
If I recall correctly the disability act has been superseded by the Equality Act, (states the same, just condensed several acts together)

So if these law changes come about will our club lose its 50 cal or will it be a different kettle of fish for clubs?

Sad to say you could easily see him urging this - like some grotty little swot at school.
'Oh, sirs, sirs, don't forget to add scary black rifles - nobody needs those.
Yours sincerely,
Master M. Yardley aged 6 1/2'
