My First Rifle No4 Mk2

Re: My First Rifle No4 Mk2
How anal is everyone about the authenticity of their Enfields or parts?
Re: My First Rifle No4 Mk2
I'm wary of Ammo Zone's service rifle offerings. Having had a close look at the muzzles and crowns of rifles advertised by them as "new barrel fitted" or "very good condition" I'd pick very, very carefully. (and they stamp serial numbers into Enfield woodwork!)
Re: My First Rifle No4 Mk2
My No.4 Mk.2 is entirely authentic and all matching, other than that one I don't expect all matching numbers, So many of the older rifle have been FTR'd I don't expect them to match.
Re: My First Rifle No4 Mk2
I bought a SMLE at the tail end of last week, looks fine to me. No serial no.s on the woodwork. What should I look for in at the business end to check?
