I have plenty of 308 tracer, but 6.5x55 are like finding a Brock who can type - or even hen's teeth

Trex, Was not at Warcop this month, but was last - I'll not be there on the 29th either, as I'll be shooting Bambi that weekend.
You there with Offas/FCSA?

We did get a 'orrid attack of the giggles once.
'Twas back in Mesopotamia* and us was carrying the section GPMG was us. We shouldn't have been, given our advanced age and rank, but the young sprogs were finding it hard to cope with the 100% 'umidity, 54 degree C heat and knee deep mud in the marshes. We came under attack from some rag 'eads and so we dropped to one knee and unloaded a belt of 200 rds of 4 B1T towards the incoming to allow the rest of the section to find some cover. Once the section began to return fire and endeavoured to 'win the firefight', we called for more ammo. Our no.2 scurried towards us, bullet strikes flikkin' up sand at his heels, and dived into the depression where we had sought cover.
"Freekin' 'ell Boss," 'im said as he dropped a fresh belt across our feed tray,"didn't you do a risk assessment before you shouted us over?"
"Yes," we replied, " and we deemed it far too dangerous to come and get the ammo ourself."
For the next 30 seconds the two of us laughed so much that we reckon every shot we fired ended up on the moon.
Since then we have never been able to take Elf & Safety Laws seriously. **

** Dromia will be sure we are called Walter after this

Thanks Badger, the rule in our house is that we must do or learn something new every day, my daughter is going to be most impressed when I tell her I was conversing with a Badger and they apparently can suffer fits of the giggles!
Then again she might just tell me I drink too much.

There with the FCSA on 18th Aug as well, no doubt we'll come across each other at some point.
