Looking at the times of your post and the error encountered, it is clear that the hosting is shared and "someone" else is using the bandwidth/memory allocation.

Why did I get 6 emails - one after each of the last 6 posts in the thread telling me there was a new post?
I normally get the first and then nothing more until I have been to read that thread.

Is it set to instant notification of a reply? - If I set my settings to that, I get one E-mail per reply.

No, all set to standard subscribe mode - so it should be one email when a reply is added and then nothing until I have been back to the thread. All others seem to be working fine.

It might well be due to the MySql Db not being accessible properly at the time of Dromia's post(s) then not recording the fact etc - looks like we are shared with someone who is really busy early hours of the am!

Would this problem have anything to do with not being able to post pics direct from my PC, I get an error message saying that my file is larger than 600x800 pixels. oh er mrs

pe4king, you need to scale your file back to 800x600 in order to add it to the forum.

Max has always been 1000, last week I reduced it to 800.
