Re: Increasing the Leverage on a Lee Classic Cast press
There are no pot metal parts on a cast Classic, I can vouch for the construction. I need to order some stock shortly Dromia so if you want a longer handle let me know and I will add it.

Re: Increasing the Leverage on a Lee Classic Cast press
The whole point of the exercise is not to have to use a longer handle so as not to have the longer, throw as previously stated in the thread.
The Classic Cast is in the Rockchucker league of presses not the previous line of flimsy Lee presses. One of their better products.
People have been converting and using the Classic Cast for swaging since it came out and it has withstood the test of usage over time.

Thanks David, I hope I won't need it.
I could just pick the parts up at the Phoenix, save on postage.

Interesting.
That whole job should take about 15 minutes or so.
Myself I would just use a longer handle.

It is a very quick job really, I still wonder why one end of the link bar was so hard.
Re: Increasing the Leverage on a Lee Classic Cast press
8" longer handle with a kink up top works a treat no alteration to ram throw!
