Looks lots of fun and I'd love to participate, who knows maybe one day. I have a question if that's okay. I was looking at the rules and it said
Triggers minimum pull weight is 1500 grams
. I'm guessing it isn't the same thing, but what do they mean by "pull weight"? Am I confusing this with trigger pull?

the pull weight is exactly the same beast as the trigger pull, just a local variance in the language

Well it's been a long time since I used metric so I had to use a calculator, 1500 grams = a 53 ounce trigger pull, that's some trigger pull. Mind you it should make the competition more interesting.

Is there a law in the UK regarding minimum trigger pull on a rifle, just curious

its less than 3 1/2 LB pull, the same as the US Palma matches require, there is, as far as I am aware, no minimum pull weight for target rifles in the UK,

Kennyc, of course it is, forgive me I don't know what I was thinking. I guess I saw the big ounce number and though Wow, didn't convert it in to lbs, my bad.

Is there a minimum pull weight by law for say varmint rifles or other hunting rifles. Again just curious.

OK mate thanks for taking the time to answer my questions. I quite often get asked about UK law in comparison to US law, to be honest a lot of the time I can't answer because I don't know much about UK firearms law apart from what I read on here and other UK shooting websites.

not a problem, should you ever get to grips with UK gun law you could make a fortune explaining it to us
