I have no interest in the stuff nor had i ever heard of it being used for cleaning cases (i would have thought it an acid like lemon juice). I commented on the wife having it in the house and buying it in Costco, believing i was being helpful. I even offered to cost it, the next time she's in - she spends a bloody fortune there so no doubt she'll feel the need to visit soon.
Instead i get told i'm talking bollox and the wife thinks i'm taking an interest in the dishwasher :cool2:

I'll send you the dosh in advance if you have a feel for what it will cost.
Nae need.Offering her money before a trip will just encourage her to buy more. I'll warn her to pick some up...she'll pick them up in whatever quantities they're packaged in.
Just received this from their head office, after scotsguns advice i double checked with the manufacturer and Costco as well AGAIN.

Hello Mark,
I am amazed that Lemi Shine has reached the UK! How did you get to try it? Unfortunately at this time sending to the UK would be very pricey. We are not equipped to do so and the customer would have to pay for shipping. It would not be cost effective for you. The shipping charges would be more than $500 for 50 bottles. That would be up to $14 per bottle and that is a rough estimate! I am sorry about that! If a retailer takes on Lemi Shine in the UK I will notify you so that you may order from them directly. Thank you again for your interest and have a wonderful week!

And from the Costco services manager responsible for ALL uk stock control "No mate sorry we dont, and have never stocked Lemishine in any stores across the UK"
ive tried to find it locally so there wil be an order going through to Cory in the next day or two.
Sorry for delay.
I assume someone else has tried Citric Acid granules?, I was using it for a pre-vibratory tumble wash of my brass before I got the STM kit with excellent results.
I threw 50 nice dirty .44 cases in the STM this afternoon and used the following mix, 1 teaspoon Citric Acid, 2 tablespoons of Lemon and Aloe Vera flavour Ecover and a quick squirt of Asda dishwasher rinse aid. Did a 3hr tumble and came out just as clean as with the Lemi Shine smile2
There's room for all Gods creatures, next to the mash and gravy :)
No one's explained what's so special about this stuff yet. Do i drop the cases in a solutions of it, do i use it raw, do i put the cases in the dishwasher? Is it just the carbon deposits it cleans or more?
