6.5 Krag, nice but be prepared to spend nearly a £1000 +, 30.06 1903, again a grand at least, 2 groove barrelled maybe just under !
30.06 P17 is the route I went, beast of a rifle like a P14 on steroids is the best way to describe it .

Now a Jap, that would be different, the one in the link has the mum / mom in tact. They were supposed to deface them before being captured, I guess this bloke was the one of many that just jumped off the cliff, least he thought of the rifle before himself ?

Do you have a WW1 Mauser G98 , I would recommend one of those as well if you have a K98, this one is the Grandaddy ?

If it were me, I would have everything !

Nice lookin' rifle. A tad out of my price range at the moment, though.

Yup, I've got a G98, Spandu, barreled action which is sitting in a Czech 98/22 stock... which bugs the Hell outta me! :cool2:

Ok.

Variation has been posted. I've asked for two 1-for-1s, a "8mm" and a "7.5mm"

Fingers crossed fingerscrossed

I like the look of the K31s, but it also grants me the option of looking at the French MAS 7.5mm, but, it needs to be approved first fingerscrossed
