My feet were ice the first night - of course I have cold feet from time to time, just not like that.

In principle I agree with you re the vaccine and people off the street...just that there are nutters around and what if someone gets injected several times over a few days and dies...hell would break loose.

Not very likely in my case why would I want to go abroad for Holiday when there are so many places in the UK I want to visit and at 69 years old it is unlikely I will be looking for a new job any time soon. By the end of the year every one and his dog will have been jabbed so who will care.

Had the AstraZeneca jab at 3:20pm today then went back to work, no ill effects as of now and arm aches no more than normal after doing a shift so fingers crossed I’ll be ok

That's Great hopefully you wont have any side affects.

Got up at 7:15 this morning and feel right as rain, very slight ache where I had the jab but that’s it

I really despair when I see/hear that sort of thing - it shows a lack of understanding of what the vaccines can and can't do and I lay a lot of the blame and the door of the Govt, the media and the NHS. I seem to be constantly reminding staff that if you've been vaccinated that
1) You can still catch Covid 19,
2) You can still spread Covid 19
3) It only reduces the risk of a severe case of Covid 19 and the chances of hospitalisation and
4) We don't know long the protection lasts for, so precautions are still required.

This sort of thing is probably a contributing factor to a current outbreak of Covid in a non Covid ward in a nearby Hospital.

BTW I had my first AZ jab 10 days ago...
