I weigh every load with scales.Im not loading huge amounts of ammunition and my time is my own.I dont mind how long it takes-its a hobby to me.

For my short range calibres (up to 300yds) i drop straight from the Harrel, for my long range calibre i drop short and trickle to weight.

well I ended up buying the cheaper option of the lee powder measure and did 100 rounds droping the majority and trickling up today and i can say its a VAST improvement of what it was like doing it previously... i think i did all 100 rounds in about half the time it normally takes me (to powder and seat the bullet)...

Hopefully I can shoot them aswell as I reloaded them :p

For anyone who is not quite sure how the Targetmaster trickler system works, here is a video of my own set-up.

First class demo...what a brilliant set up and presentation.

RCBS beam scales are great...knife edge bearings?

I've got complete faith in my Hornady powder measure. I used to underthrow and trickle to weight. I now charge the case directly, but throw every tenth charge into the scale pan as a check on consistency. I may be charging case twelve by the time the scale settles. Always spot on. I always throw a dozen or so charges at the start of the session, and obviously when changing batches of powder.

This works with ball powder, and admittedly I'm not chasing benchrest loads.

Don't think Targemaster could promote it better.

1066 ought to be on commission!
