Nice tip about mixing. I guess you can dilute as much as you want - more alcohol will just require more squirts to get the same amount of active ingredient. If you're lubing smaller quantities then a more dilute mix may make it easier to apply the correct amount of lube evenly. I lube in trays of 500 .308 at a time - 30 squirts of fine mist per tray. One great thing about this lube is that it's easy to lube evenly, leading to consistent sizing, and hard to over-lube and cause lube dents. Another is the price; at 20:1 it's about £9.00 per litre delivered. Compare that with something like 'Lyman Quick Slick Pump Spray' at £49.00 per litre (£23.20 per 16oz) plus shipping.

Personally I haven't had, or at least noticed, a problem with the expander in my dies although I have polished them with very fine abrasive paper to reduce the diameter slightly.

If you think about it there are some very expensive bushing dies that do not come with an expander you control the neck tension using a bushing.

Which is great if you're turning the necks so that the thickness of the metal around the neck is uniform........if you're not, then pulling a floating button up through the neck is surely more likely to centralise the hole?

I have used bushing dies for years to control neck tension. I have never neck turned.
