Try the .311" 182gr FMJ "Match" bullets. to be honest your 174gr handload should be more accurate than factory ammo as it is tailored for your rifle whereas factory ammo is loaded to work in everyones rifle.....if that makes sense.

Good luck on getting the whole Mosin collection, you'll need quite a few slots!

Are you aiming for all from the Imperial Russian M91 through to the Soviet M44 carbine or just Soviet-era variants?.....and how about Finnish-acquired/captured and examples from other countries?.

I would like for the moment the soviet 91/30, pu, m39 and m44. Later an imperial one would be nice.
I haven't trier 182gr because the gun shop near me only had the 174. I got a load of those ppu174 and I developed the lad with them. It does make sense to be more accurate than the fac ammo.

That'll be a Soviet M38, the M39 is a Finnish variant.You going for Izhevsk or Tula rifles?.

I am not really bothered by any arsenal.
Wanted to type m38.
What is important is to get the rifles, to get the slots on the ticket and to be healthy enough to shoot them.

I don't think there's much of a saving to be made reloading especially if you only shoot game or go stalking. By the time you purchase cases heads and dies etc but the satisfaction is the thing for me, my last sojourn I fired one shot for one doe,my own load.
