Ours is not going to be as big as yours however they will racked higher so you can walk in and see everything at eye height.

My wife does not understand the idea of shooting. However, it shocked me that she suggested it as part of our house restructure. Cheaper than moving.

I'm still working on my reloading room/office.
The main workbench however was a 3m x 1120 Island worktop in solid oak that i've had cut down to fit the size I need.
The room is above the stairs so the slanted ceiling comes into the room and was previously boxed in with a square. i stepped this and then laid the worktop onto this and witha 3x2 batton securely fitted to the wall, then screwed down on top. Because walls are usually not straight I chased out the wall and recessed the worktop into the wall and recently plastered above it and below it to bring it all in line.

Before adding the workbench I made sure I had enough sockets on top of it (3x double sockets) and some power under the desk.
It also has a leg that is currently not installed, but will go near to where I put my presses to stop any flex.

Work in progress, but it's getting there... The plaster is drying out and it'll be sanded and painted by the end of the week.

I've got the offcuts of the worktop too, which I'll probably be making shelves out of, these are 12" wide and almost the length of the wall, however will need to be cut down slightly so I can fit the TV in the man cave...

Any further progress on your room yet? I cant wait to see it finished if only to steal ideas

'scuse the mess, I'm still unpacking/moving stuff from storage.

As of yet, the press(es) have not yet been mounted. i think I'll end up mounting them with C-clamps.

It's where the slope of the landing above the stairs is. Before it was a massive square box with a desk sitting across the whole thing. I thought it was a waste of space, so I cut out half of it to use as storage under my big desk.

Space is at a premium in this house (my first), so I'm after every nook and cranny to fill with gun or guitar gear...!

It's about the right size to fit 5 or more 50 cal or double-wide 7.62 ammo tins under there, which I'd like to do, but they're roughly £20 per pop, which soon mounts up... :(

You dont have to tell me about space being a premium. We are STILL looking for a house that fits the criteria we want as we have outgrown this one and it must have excess space once all of our s**t is in!
Maybe such a house does not exist for our budget thats why we aint moved yet!

Haven't you noticed, I spend a lot of time at the computer....

Haha... space being at a premium and not wanting to have my reloading gear out in the garage or the shed, since I like the warms, it'll be in here.

As you can see though I need a way to attach my press to the bench without it being permanent or causing much damage to the worktop.

Nothing like being comfortable whilst reloading
