I have now put 1,207 rounds through my SGC 9mm and it runs great. Most of the time I use a Cadwell net type brass-catcher which does work, but occasionally a case bounces back and jams the bolt. The good thing is that you soon get used to the sounds of the rifle as it cycles and you can instantly hear and feel through the stock if something has gone wrong.
Ammunition wise, Fiocchi 130 grain seems rather harsh and you can feel the effect through the stock. My rifle runs great on Geco 124 grain. It is an accurate rifle, but by far my best results have been with LOS 123 grain bullets with 4.0 grains of Hodgon HP-38.
I can shoot it quickly, but I tend not to...... not least because at one club, "rapid-fire" is seriously frowned upon .....

124 grain geco is what I've been recommended to use after speaking to few guys at the nationals at Bisley. Unfortunately nobody up here stocks any 9mm ammo so I've got the local guy to order in some magtech to try,typically it seems just as I move into 9mm the prices have all gone up.
I was also recommended to get the cross hair buffer from brownells,makes the gun nicer to use.

I had a go on one of these recently and I found the bolt flying forwards on release knocked me off the target more than the recoil did, I wonder if some work lightening the carrier and buffer might improve things. Tricky job in a blowback rifle though...

I have used so far 300 rounds of sellier and ballot 115gr FMJ, 100 rounds of magtech 124 LRN & 100 147gr FMJ magtech no problems at all ! Except I had one of two dead mans clicks from the sellier and ballot. Accuracy is really good and getting the hang of shooting it fast !
Ps Unlike the Colt 635 this is designed and built from the ground up to fire 9mm

Well technically its the bolt carrier - its the underside where the lever-release mechanism rides
