Of course not, oomanski, we just keeps our ears to the ground, reads the Mitrokhin archive, that sort of thing. And of course, owt buried underground by oomanses needs a chit signed by us...

Snayperskaya,get a book "Aquarium" or "Icebreaker" by Victor Suvorov aka Rezun-former GRU officer in 70'....he is living now in UK,after changing sides...any questions,ask...The Stripey done his homework,congrats.... :good:

I only read "Soviet SAS" & found Suvorov's book quite tedious but never-the-less interesting when he explains the recruitment pool & network of wannabe spetsnaz/KGB "operators". The rest is a bit of "an ideal world" writen for a Western audience in the mid of the Cold war ...
No doubt some cells & supplies caches must exist but if you rely solely on them as a source of 7N1 or "extra match" ammo to feed your SVD, may I suggest you get an air-rifle right now if you expect to do any shooting at all ...

"Aquarium" is partly autobiographical,I think this is the book to start with....I was born not far away when his story starts...It is very genuine writing...just detach yourself from alll this c**p around you and it will be "hard ride"...some of you want be the same...only some...have a go-and be prepared for a strong desire to have a 7.62x39 slot on your FAC... :p
