New Webley - Made in the UK

24" and less, a place to discuss all things handgun related, section 7.3. Long barrelled revolvers, long barrelled pistols and section 5. Overseas contributions are more than welcome.

No need to make them in a new caliber, .455 would be just fine, and no development would be needed. With modern CNC technology they would not be expensive to produce. They would sell the by the thousand in Canada alone never mind the US.
Only thing is.....455 Webley cases are £1.50 Each.

Unless anybody knows better...

If you payed that you were being ripped off. The last lot I bought were just a normal run of the mill price, not noticeably different from 45 acp for example.

New .455 Brass is very difficult to find here in the UK, all I have seen is Bertram and it was over GBP1.00/case last time I checked.

Not at £6000 they wouldent, you could buy 7 Blackhawks for that.
Or 16.25 S&W 629's in Canada.

That is in excess of €uro 7K ... I wonder how many they will sell ...
My one & only revolver, 629 Classic DX, 6' that I like but would happily sell it to get one of those Webley instead but sadly could not come-up with the px difference

Nah, the Shadow beats the P226 everytime, won more Presidents medals for sure!

If you wanted to spend a bit more I'd go CZ TS particularly in its Czechmate open gun form, now we're getting back up to £6k Webley money!
