Which Winny? - I had a 1894 ae, which was very acurate at 100 yrds with factory ammo, and not bad at 200 - the first time I fired one of my 25 yrd loads outside, I wasn't sure if it had gone off ...and at 100 they were dropping badly.
Let us know what loads you use, and how they do at 100....

Yes,its a 94AE Dougan.Like yours its very accurate with factory 357's so will be intresting to see what its like with homeloads at this distance because the furthest i've used it is 50mtrs.I know i can push Dodgyrogs cast boolits quite hard so i'll try 12-14grns of Alliant 2400.
I am curious to know why you would want to try and shoot a 357 under lever rifle out to 100 and 200yds.
You are not going to get any kind of accuracy are they the only full bore rifles you own.

Actually I can't see the point in shooting any other type of full bore rifle at 100 or less...Personally I like the SMLE for 200/300, and then .308 TR from there out to 1000.
GRCF rifles can be very acurate at 100 with lead bullets, but for 200 and 300 people tend to use jacketed bullets. 100 is usually shot standing unsuported, 200 kneeling or sitting, and 300 prone (there is a specific competition at the Phoenix).
And anyway, lever action rifles are a lot of fun...have you not seen 'True Grit' :P
