So execute the RFD's of Bird, Ryan and Hamilton? What if different RFD's sold them the ammo? Dance at the bottom of a rope as well? Or even my local RFD, they sold a .22 rifle to an FAC holder who used it to murder his wife with three years later. Execute her as well?

Are you NUTS or what, why not just kill everyone who used a knife and sold that knife to that person who commited that crime, bats, pipes, wrenches, etc. also should apply as well I guess in your train of thought.

That's not a stone cold fact, it's just plain wrong!
Just because a lot of criminals are "poor", that does not mean the a lot of the poor are criminals! What is a fact, is that being poor makes you more likely to be victimised, generally due to the areas you have to reside in! And trust me, I've met criminals who have more money than I will ever see, save for coming up with six numbers on the lottery!
If, CCW returned to the UK, by making it out of reach of the poor you would be deying those that need it more and those would have the greatest impact on the "criminal class" with any defensive gun use.
There is a gun company in the US called Lorcin. They make the cheapest full sized, defensive pistol on the market. It's down right ugly, but it works. Lorcin has been in business for a long time and sells more guns that some of the "top end" manufacturers. Why? Because they provide a product that makes armed defence accessible to all. If you want to make CCW elite, then lets just keep it with the polticians being allowed proper protection.....
Sorry i wasn't saying being poor makes you a criminal, christ if that was the case i'd definitely be in the clink! :lol: But if you go to a prison and interviewed those in for what i would call a physical crime (i.e. not fraud, embezzlement etc), the overwhelming majority will have come from poor families. When was the last time you were threatened on the street by someone in a suit with a copy of the FT under his/her arm? :lol:

I ASSUMED WE WERE TALKING ABOUT HAND GUN OWNERSHIP AND AS ALL HAND GUNS IN THE UK ARE BANNED THE ONLY WAY YOU COULD OWN ONE IS IF YOU OBTAINED IT ILLEGALLY ISNT IT.
Should of said if the gun was held illegally then the person selling them it should suffer the same fate.

Not all handguns are banned in the UK, there are still an awful lot that are legally owned.....
That said, your original post makes more sense with the clarification of the last sentence.

Very true Sim and I so wonder if people realise how many are still owned by the general public, be it Black Powder, S7.3, humane despatch or whatever. Plus a significant number of S5 plus there are still people who are licensed to carry a concealed hand gun, I also know/knew of one person who carried a Taurus pistol in 10mm and no he was not armed forces or law enforcement.
